Alsatian Eyes are a four piece post-punk outfit, drawn from the four corners of a very small part of the North West of England.

Drawn to each other by their love of all things punk, new wave and the theatrical arts, Alsatian Eyes quickly began collaborating on writing, recording and, above all, performing live at any possible opportunity.

Our first formal gig was at The Taphouse in Lancaster on 25th June 2025, but we’ve since had a lineup change that has taken us to perform at some amazing venues, including The Beehive in Bromley and The Amersham Arms in New Cross, plus we have gigs booked in Manchester, Liverpool and Lancaster, but we crave more. We’re badass insatiable performing machines primed to blow your faces clean off! A seething subcritical mass of performing density who requires a little squeeze from you to go prompt and explode in the megaton range into public consciousness.

The band plays post-punk originals that draw influence from every conceivable genre and we deliver our mayhem in mixed time signatures with driving basslines, discordant guitar and a sexy little wiggle.

Our line up defies convention also. Matt is a 46 year old dude in a skirt who uses music to deal with Bipolarism, anxiety and a broken back. Lily is a 19 year old musical theatre student at the Arden in Manchester. She’s autistic, bisexual and fabulous! Dan is a bisexual drummer who, at 31, has only played drums for a year (honestly he’s had the hardest drumming apprenticeship in the history of hitting stuff with sticks). Jamie… Well Jamie is an enigma. I’ve never seen him wear anything that isn’t black and he manages AV for the Royal Court Liverpool.

On paper we don’t make sense, but bring this eclectic mix together with a PA and we produce some of the most genuinely new and entertaining music you are going to hear. Wonky timing, polyrhythmic, polymetered, polyester music for the masses. That’s us chica!

We’re about to release a single (Bathtime) and our Revival EP (both produced by Simon “Ding” Archer at 6db Salford). When they drop, on the 17th of October and 13th of November respectively, you’re gonna want a piece. That and the release tour starting at The Electric Circus in Burnley on the 14th of November.
